Richmond, VA - A Grace Place Adult Care Center has launched its new CELEBRATE LIFE! website as a part of the celebration marking its 40th year as a leading provider of Adult Day Care Services and an integral part of Central Virginia’s Long-Term Care Community.
The new CELEBRATE LIFE! website expands the Center’s Caregiver Education program with a vital section that focuses on Family and Caregiver Resources. It includes helpful links to many external websites covering issues from aging to caregiver coping. A new blog will keep the extended A Grace Place community up to date on program activities, special events at A Grace Place and the community in general, as well as news on new treatments and therapy. Also included are articles on care-giving and information about the statewide communities of the Aging, Persons with Mental Retardation and Persons with Disabilities. The new website address is www.aGracePLACEacc.org.
Since 1967, A Grace Place Adult Care Center has enhanced the lives of adults with lifelong, age-related, or chronic health conditions, and their caregivers, by providing individually focused daytime services to support community-based living. A Grace Place Adult Care Center enables individuals to remain living at home, with family members, providing an alternative to nursing home care.
