A british ceramicist, well-known for her colorful, hand-built sculptural vessels, works in a flattened perspective tromple - l’oeil style. Accustomed pot shapes are flattened and distorted, challenging our traditional views of shape and perspective. Dated 1982, this piece was created during the period thought by many collectors to be the apex of Ms. Gunn-Russell’s ceramics career.
